On January 26, 2023, the ceremonial oath of office and investiture of Judge Gail Horne Ray was held at the 19th Judicial District Court. Although Judge Ray took her official oath of office on January 12, 2023 , the investiture is a formal ceremonial to confer the authority of the office of a district court judge amongst fellow Judges, members of the bar, family and friends. Judge Ray will preside over a Criminal Docket in Section 2.
