COURT OPERATIONS CONTINUE FOLLOWING JUDICIAL REMOVAL

On December 11, 2025, the Louisiana Supreme Court issued a decision removing Judge Tiffany Foxworth-Roberts from judicial office in the Nineteenth Judicial District Court.
The Nineteenth Judicial District Court respects the ruling of our state’s highest court. Court operations continue as normal. Every case will be heard by a duly assigned judge, and every person who comes before this Court can be assured that their matter will receive the full attention and impartial consideration that justice requires.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
One copy of a case management scheduling order must be signed by all parties and filed into the Clerk of Court. This must be completed within 7 days of receiving the CMSO from our office. CMSO that do not comply with this procedure will not be added to our docket.
Trials on the merits will be assigned at a pretrial conference. Trial dates will not be provided unless a proper request for a pretrial conference has been submitted. Please refer to the Louisiana District Court Rules for the 19th JDC.
