Pretrial Services Program

The Nineteenth Judicial District Court is in the process of implementing a full-service Pretrial Services Program. The responsibilities of this office are two-fold. First, the staff gathers information on all defendants upon booking. This information is provided to the Commissioners for consideration during the bail hearing at Call-out. The second part involves a more long-term involvement in the supervision of defendants during the Pretrial aspect of their case. The level of supervision varies depending upon the specific defendant.
